What owners report

Drawn from 13 owners' accounts of the KZ Connect, mostly 2019–2026 units. It covers the whole KZ Connect line, not only this floorplan. Nobody here has camped in it; this is what people who bought one say.

Three owners have trouble with the 12-volt fridge. A 2025 312 owner who mostly boondocks found the three-door 12V fridge would drain the single factory battery in under a day and was pushed into lithium and solar; another owner says the Furrion unit swings between freezing the milk and spoiling the cheese, and a 2019 owner's Everchill fan quit.

Several owners have had few problems. One reports close to perfect across three and a half years and 11 states; a 2019 owner replaced a kitchen faucet and little else in three years; full-timers in a 2021 and a 221RBSE say it has been great. A 6'7" owner chose the standard Connect over the Connect SE for its taller ceiling.

The bad reports involve water and parts. Owners describe a 2023 wall that soaks through every rain from a leak no one can find, a soft floor spot by the fridge on a 2019 since new, and another trailer with leaks at the front window and slide plus rot in the bathroom wall. A 2023 C241BHKSE's tank supports broke on its third trip and spilled sewage on the site, then a replacement window took six months, and the dealer dropped the brand.

What owners like

  • +Several owners, including full-timers, report years of use with almost no maintenance.
  • +Owners tow 24- to 30-foot units behind half-ton trucks without trouble beyond some wind sway.

Common complaints

  • −The 12V residential fridges are finicky and power-hungry, overwhelming a single factory battery and failing to hold steady temperatures.
  • −Water intrusion shows up on 2019 to 2023 units, from soft floors to wall leaks that resealing the roof doesn't fix.
  • −Towing the 30-foot-plus floorplans with a half-ton means frequent fuel stops, and owners have moved to 3/4-ton trucks.
