KZ

The first KZ, in 1972, was a truck camper designed and built by two employees. The company still sits in Shipshewana, Indiana, now on a campus with 530,000 square feet of production space and more than 600 workers, and it has been a Thor Industries subsidiary since Thor bought it in May 2014. Venture RV is a KZ division with its own page here.

KZ builds only towables, and the site lists one from each of its main families. The Connect C261RB is a 30-foot travel trailer at about 6,675 lb dry. The Durango D301RLT is a 34-foot rear-living fifth wheel on a 12,995 lb GVWR. The Sportster X 3411X is a 40-foot fifth-wheel toy hauler with a 16,000 lb GVWR. No MSRP is listed for these three here, so dealer quotes are the price reference.
