Alliance RV Delta 281BH
Two bunks in a rear bunkhouse, a U-shaped dinette and a second entry door make this a family trailer, which is how Alliance mostly sells the Delta line. The 281BH has one slide and sleeps eight, and it is Alliance's only bumper-pull trailer on the site.

What owners report
Drawn from 14 owners' accounts of the Alliance Delta, mostly 2023–2026 units. It covers the whole Alliance Delta line, not only this floorplan. Nobody here has camped in it; this is what people who bought one say.
Two owners say Alliance approves mobile technicians for warranty work so the trailer need not go back to the dealer, and one adds that the company's owner often answers owners directly online. A 252RL owner 18 months in reports only minor fixes, the largest a dead thermostat; another has put 30 nights and 6,000 miles on one with a broken trash-can cabinet as the worst of it.
First weeks are where the trouble shows. Owners of new units describe nails pushing up through the floor of an RK234, roof sealant that stayed sticky and pulled away from the seams on a 2024 251BH, a WFCO converter that failed on a 2026 unit's first night out, a cracked shower floor on a 2025 292RL and miswired solar on a 2023 281BH. One 2025 241BH owner says the materials are no better than cheaper brands, despite the price.
Owners who weigh their rigs find tongue weight well above the brochure: about 825 lb on a loaded 251BH and 700 lb on an ML166 listed at 551. A Ram 1500 owner towing a 281BH makes it work with airbags and by keeping everything but people and pets out of the truck.
What owners like
- +Owners of 2023 to 2026 units, including full-timers, say they love them and have had only minor issues.
- +Two owners say Alliance lets approved mobile techs do warranty work so the trailer need not go back to the dealer.
- +With the right setup, owners tow these behind half-ton trucks and even a BMW X5 without sway.
Common complaints
- −New units arrive with defects, including nails coming through the floor, sticky separating roof sealant, a failed converter, a cracked shower floor and miswired solar.
- −Tongue weights run heavy for half-tons: owners measured 825 lb on a loaded 251BH and 700 lb on an ML166 listed at 551, and a 281BH owner on a Ram 1500 keeps cargo out of the truck to stay within payload.
