Dynamax
Super C motorhomes, built on medium-duty truck chassis, are the specialty at Dynamax. Dewayne Creighton founded the company in 1997; Forest River bought it in 2011, and it builds from a 200,000-square-foot plant on the north side of Elkhart, Indiana. Besides Freightliner M2 trucks, it also builds on Ford E-450 and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.
All four Dynamax models on this site are Class C motorhomes, but they span a wide range. The Isata 3 24FW is a Sprinter-based coach about 24.6 feet long on an 11,030 lb GVWR. The Isata 5 30FW moves to a 19,500 lb GVWR at about $303,000. The Europa 31SS (33,000 lb GVWR) and the 45-foot Grand Sport 45CB (58,000 lb GVWR, about $663,000) are the truck-chassis Super Cs.
