Keystone Cougar 360MBI vs Heartland Milestone 36RK

Fifth wheels of about 40 feet that serve different households. The Cougar 360MBI sleeps ten, while the Milestone 36RK is a couples rear-kitchen plan built around a 72 by 80 inch residential king. The Cougar is the lighter tow at 12,499 lb dry with a 2,200 lb pin, against 13,660 lb and 2,580 lb for the Milestone, and its cargo capacity is a little higher, 2,501 lb against 2,340. It runs two 15K BTU ducted air conditioners, one with a heat pump, a 30K ducted furnace, heated tanks, heated pass-through storage, a tankless water heater, an electric fireplace and four-point auto leveling.

The Milestone counters with its ThermaShield zero-degree package and a fully enclosed, ducted, heated underbelly, 200 W of solar, inverter pre-wire and a drop frame with plywood floor decking. Its waste tanks are larger at 87 gallons gray and 50 black against 76 and 38; fresh water is 75 gallons on both. For a big family, the Cougar. For a couple who camp in cold weather, the Milestone.
