The difference that matters

Built on the same Freightliner S2RV Plus chassis with a Cummins 6.7L, a 31,000 lb GVWR and the same 39-foot body, these two Super Cs differ mainly in who they sleep. The Seneca 37K is a couples coach with a walk-around king bed that has a power head lift, an electric fireplace and an induction cooktop, sleeping six. The Accolade 37L adds dedicated bunks rated at 300 lb each alongside a 750 lb overhead cab bunk, a family layout with three slides.

Equipment is close: an 8,000 W diesel generator with auto start, four 6 V AGM house batteries on a slide-out tray and 200 W of solar on each. The Accolade also has rear air suspension, full air brakes, an exhaust brake, a 2,000 W inverter, a macerator toilet and a 12,000 lb hitch. Its gray and black tanks are larger, 82 and 50 gallons against 51 and 40; fresh is 72 on both.

Couples will feel more at home in the Seneca. Families with kids who each need a bunk fit the Accolade.
