The difference that matters

Equipment, not size, is what separates these 28 ft Class Cs on the Ford E-450. The Redhawk 26M includes 200 W of solar with a second house battery, a 15,000 BTU ducted air conditioner, automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, heated holding tanks and an electric fireplace. The Sunflyer 26FE is solar-prep only, but it adds a 1,000 W inverter, a convection microwave with air fry and a 10 cu ft 12V fridge.

The Sunflyer's layout puts an entertainment lounge at the front and a queen bed, sleeping six against the Redhawk's five. Its black tank is notably bigger, 40 gal against 31, with fresh and gray close at 44 and 41. It has a one-piece fiberglass roof and is rated to tow 7,500 lb.

Each carries a 4,000 W generator and the same 14,500 lb GVWR. The Sunflyer is offered in SE, LE and LX trims.
