Venture
Set up in 2012 as a division of KZ, Venture RV shares KZ's Shipshewana, Indiana base and its parent, Thor Industries, which bought KZ in 2014. SportTrek was the first line it developed, followed by Sonic and Stratus; SportTrek and Sonic were launched as ultra-lightweight trailers.
The two Venture trailers on this site are both mid-size travel trailers. The Stratus SR231VRK is a 27-foot rear-kitchen model at about 5,790 lb dry on a 7,340 lb GVWR. The SportTrek ST271VRB is nearly 31 feet and about 6,770 lb dry, with a 9,260 lb GVWR that leaves more cargo capacity. Neither is in the ultralight class, so check your tow vehicle's rating against the GVWR rather than the dry weight. The KZ page covers the parent company's Connect, Durango and Sportster lines.
