Adventurer
Truck campers are the whole business at Adventurer Manufacturing, which traces its roots to 1969 in British Columbia and moved production to Yakima, Washington in 2008. In 2010 it bought the Eagle Cap brand, originally an Oregon company, and moved that line into the Yakima plant too.
The two names share a factory but not a price bracket. Adventurer campers are the company's mainstream hard-side units; Eagle Cap is the upmarket line, now built with Adventurer's True Composite Construction: two-inch aluminum-laminated walls with Azdel composite skins, closed-cell foam and an over-rail floor. Two models are listed here: the Adventurer 80RB, a compact four-season camper under 2,000 lb dry, and the Eagle Cap 1165, a triple-slide, dry-bath unit that weighs about 4,900 lb dry, more than twice as much.
